Tim Jacques (instructed by ANP solicitors) represented an adult son in his claim for reasonable financial provision from his late Father’s estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

After a three-day trial the court concluded that the provision which had been made for the claimant under his late Father’s Will was not sufficient, and awarded him a substantial capital sum, together with use of further funds to meet his housing needs for life. In addition, the claimant was awarded his costs.
