How to Apply
We are committed to being able to support those who are interested in a career at the Bar by being able to offer up to 12 unfunded mini-pupillages a year for a period of 3 days. Applications are encouraged from those who are at undergraduate or post-graduate level.
Applications are welcome at any time throughout the year but will be kept and considered quarterly. In assessing candidates for mini-pupillage, a Member of the Recruitment Committee will consider the intellectual ability, motivation for a career at the Bar and interest in Chambers of the applicant together with the written communication skills demonstrated by the CV and covering letter. In the event of two or more suitable candidates applying for the same available time, preference will be given to candidates without previous mini-pupillage experience.
Applicants should email the Chambers Administrator, Barbara Gonzalez-Jaspe, at firstname.lastname@example.org, using the subject “mini-pupillage” and attaching a CV together with a covering letter explaining why you want to do a mini-pupillage at Cornwall Street Barristers and what areas of law you are interested in.
You should also include details of your availability for the following 12 months and which office you’re hoping to complete your mini-pupillage at.
