Alice Aubrey-Fletcher successfully appealed a sentence imposed by Oxford Crown Court. Her client had been wrongly sentenced under the third-strike provisions for Class A drug-dealing. The sentence of 5 years and 8 months was quashed and substituted with a sentence of 4 years and 10 months, to reflect the mitigation and credit that was available once it was established the minimum term sentence did not apply.
