Matthew Bolt represents an instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst acquitted of sexually assaulting an officer cadet.
The Instructor was accused of arranging a meeting with the cadet following a row with his wife. During the meeting he was said to have pressed wine on her and then pressed himself up against her before kissing her. However in cross examination it emerged the cadet’s complaints about the matter both followed her being caught breaking the Academy’s strict Covid rules.
Several officers spoke highly of the instructor who was acquitted after a three day trial.
