Kellie Enever was instructed by Richard Demchek of SMQ Legal Services LLP to represent a youth defendant, who had been indicted with four others, on a 17 count indictment. The global context of the case was that the complainant had been falsely imprisoned and tortured. One defendant had pleaded guilty to the false imprisonment, which was on a joint enterprise with all other defendants. After 4 weeks, unanimous verdicts of not guilty, were returned in relation to her client, they being the only defendant to be acquitted of all counts they faced.
