We are thrilled to announce that Jonathan Storey has been ranked a Rising Star in the Legal 500 for Professional Discipline.

Jonathan was ranked because “he can be relied upon to take a pragmatic and practical approach to cases, always with a view as what is best for the client in the long run.”

The Legal 500 made special mention of Jonathan for being a“pragmatic and diligent” junior who has “a great deal of specialist knowledge” in defending Teachers Regulation Agency cases. Recent cases have involved head teachers accused of safeguarding malpractice, and teachers accused of inappropriate behaviour towards students. In one multi-handed case concerning exam cheating, he defended a teacher who made limited admissions but ran a cut-throat defence alleging bullying and intimidation by the school’s head. In addition, he also defends in some medical regulatory cases.

Jonathan completed his pupillage with Chambers in 2017 and in the three years that have followed has built an exceptional practice in the area of professional discipline.
