John Connor, instructed by Morlings Solicitors in Maidstone, represented Chandon Webster at the Old Bailey this week.
Mr Webster was charged with s18 GBH with intent. Mr Webster was acquitted by a jury in the historical Court number 1 after a trial at which the Court heard that the defendant acted in self-defence.
Prior to transferring to the Bar in 2017, John was in private practice for over 30 years. He obtained his Higher Rights in March 2005 and practiced as a High Court Advocate for over 10 years before joining Chambers in 2017.
His extensive experience includes serious assaults, dishonesty, drugs, firearms and sexual offences and he has appeared as an advocate in both the Central Criminal Court and the Court of Appeal.
