Following a meticulous and lengthy cross-examination of the respondent father spanning several days, Miss Edwards proved eight allegations of serious domestic violence, perpetrated against a mother and the parties two children. The violence, which Miss Edwards was also able to prove included the use of imitation guns and knives, was determined by the court to have spanned a period of over eight years.

Miss Edwards will continue to represent the applicant mother in these proceedings as they now progress through to the welfare stage for further assessment.
