Chris O’Gorman successfully prosecuted 24 year old Dale Cooke for carrying a bladed article hidden in his jeans at The Bohemian Club, Wolverhampton.

The Defendant claimed the knife belonged to his girlfriend, who was in the club, and he didn’t possess it for protection but HHJ Amjad Nawaz said he was “sceptical” about the circumstances due to the location of where the knife was hidden.

Jailing the Defendant for 32 weeks, HHJ Amjad Nawaz said “people who carry bladed articles put themselves at risk. Thankfully nothing more serious happened as a result of your actions.”

Whilst Chris also defends, he is a grade 3 prosecutor. He prosecutes and defends in some of the most serious types of cases.
