Six men have been convicted of over a robbery at the home of footballer Ashley Cole and his partner Sharon Canu and for the theft of The Portland Tiara from Welbeck Estate said to be valued at some £3.5m.
The ten-week trial at Nottingham Crown Court saw Cornwall Street Barristers’ Michael Brady KC lead the prosecution team which secured the convictions for a string of “ruthlessly executed” robberies and burglaries between October 20218 and January 2020.
