Amiee was instructed by West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service and West Mercia’s Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) to prosecute Operation Aloha. which involved three suspects who between them had 14.5 kg of class A drugs, predominately cocaine, as well as 12.3kg of class B cannabis, cannabis edibles and over £92k in cash. The combined value of the cash and drugs at street level was in the region of £1.5 million.
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Fenn said, “[This] result marks the conclusion of what is one of the one of the biggest seizures of drugs by West Mercia Police in recent years. This investigation has shut down a serious and organised criminal enterprise flooding class A and B drugs into the north Worcestershire area, and I want to pay tribute to those officers involved for their hard work.”

West Mercia Police will continue with its efforts to tackle drugs gangs, regardless of what role individuals play in these gangs or assistance they provide, to keep the public safe from their criminality as well as the harmful impact illegal substances such as these have on our communities.”
