Joshua Purser, instructed by Blackhams Solicitors, successfully defended an estate and it’s executors from a claim brought under the Wills Act 1837.
The litigation lasted over three years and involved claims of undue influence, absence of testamentary capacity and lack of knowledge and approval and due execution. Joshua forensically scrutinised large volumes of medical records and challenged the evidence of a renowned forensic handwriting expert who gave opinion on an alleged forged signature.
Joshua, his clients, and the team were thrilled that the claim was dismissed after a long-awaited final hearing.
