Chambers are deeply saddened to announce that Anthony Berry K.C. died on the 30th September 2024 following a long illness he was unable to defeat.
He had been many things; a kind and wise head of chambers at 9 Bedford Row, a valued door tenant at Cornwall Street Barristers and an astonishingly talented natural advocate, generous mentor and friend, a doughty defender of the independent criminal bar and above all a man whose presence lit up a room, whose company was of the very best and who filled the hearts of those around him with joy and laughter.
He was much loved and is hugely missed.
