We are absolutely thrilled to congratulate Peter Glenser QC for being ranked as a leading Silk in the latest publication of the Legal 500 for Crime.
Peter has been ranked because he is “A charismatic, charming and highly effective advocate who goes the extra mile for his clients. An exceptional advocate with a solid grasp of the particular issues involved in military cases and an encyclopedia knowledge of criminal law.” Qualities that stand him out against the crowd.
Peter joined Chambers in November 2019 as a practising door tenant. Since joining us he has been instructed on numerous serious cases including murder and sexual offences. In particular, Peter was instructed in the very high profile case of the stabbing of a minor who tragically died in the arms of a commuter at East Croydon train station earlier this year.
Peter is also a recognised expert in firearms law and has been involved in, if not all, serious and high profile Court Martial cases in recent years, including cases of murder, manslaughter, rape, serious sexual assaults, other violence and dishonesty cases, as well as cases arising from alleged ill-treatment of enemy combatants, non-combatants and subordinates on operations.
