Following a 3-day trial during sensitive private law proceedings, Faye who was representing an extremely vulnerable mother with complex mental health difficulties, was successful in arguing an incident of rape and two further physical assaults, perpetrated by the mother’s ex-partner and father of the children. Faye has represented this client for the past 12 months since proceedings commenced and the matter will now proceed through to the welfare stage for consideration of the child arrangements of the parties’ children.
