Danae Larham, instructed by Smith Dawson Solicitors, secured an acquittal for her client after a 3 day trial at Stafford Crown Court. The charge was one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The allegation involved a sustained assault with a glass bottle resulting in a head wound, with much of the incident having been caught on CCTV and mobile phone footage.
The jury deliberated for under two hours before unanimously acquitting the defendant.
