Cornwall Street Barristers and member Rebecca Keeves have been shortlisted in this year’s Birmingham Law Society Awards. Cornwall Street has been chosen for the Pro Bono Category whilst Rebecca has been shortlisted for Barrister of the Year.
This is the second set of awards that Cornwall Street has been shortlisted for this year already and is testament to the teams’ hard work, tenacity and resilience in the face of what has certainly been one of the most challenging periods in history for the Bar.
James Farmer, Chief Executive of Cornwall Street Barristers said: “We can’t believe we have made another shortlist, this time for the Birmingham Law Society Awards. We are so incredibly proud of the team and also Rebecca Keeves for making the shortlist for Barrister of the Year. We really appreciate being acknowledged in this way and whatever the result, we are over the moon to be noticed and look forward to celebrating with professional friends in the next month.”
Rebecca Keeves added: “I was very surprised to be nominated and absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for Barrister of the Year. It is a privilege to be part of this profession and I am so grateful to be recognised in this way. I look forward to finding out the results next month and wish everyone the best of luck.”
