Christopher Pembridge, instructed by John Onions Solicitors, successfully secured the acquittal of a man alleged to have committed an assault by penetration & sexual assault on his friend, whilst she slept in bed.
The case involved significant legal argument, with day one of trial entirely dedicated to such. Following thorough cross-examination of the complainant, and after highlighting significant inconsistencies in the numerous first accounts she made to others, the jury unanimously acquitted the defendant on all counts.
