Jonathan was instructed by South East Regional Organised Crime Unit to prosecute 3 men suspected to be involved in an operation to supply £6m worth of ketamine from an industrial unit. Two of the men pleaded guilty leaving a trial for the man suspected to be acting in a leading role in the operation. The trial focused on proving that it was this defendant who sent key text messages and made key phone calls directing the supply. Jonathan called a police analyst to present a “storyboard” of evidence bringing together cell site, text and call data and CCTV to ultimately persuade the Jury to conclude that the defendant was indeed acting in a leading role in the operation.
