Background

Raymond was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1973 and after obtaining his higher rights in 1995 joined Chambers. He acted as a stipendiary magistrate between 1989 and 1995.

Raymond specialises in public and private law child care cases. He is also instructed in adoption and wardship matters.

He was a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel for 10 years, following its inception and until his move to the Bar.

He is regularly instructed by local authorities, the National Youth Advocacy Service, and children’s guardians.
