Background
Farah joined Chambers having originally practised as a Solicitor, gaining in excess of 20 years’ experience initially in Private Practice representing clients in family and general litigation matters and then as a Senior Solicitor and Acting Manager working predominantly for local authorities in the West Midlands in the area of child protection.
Family
Farah also worked for five years part-time as a consultant within a private practice acting in care proceedings, special guardianship, adoption and private family law applications.
Farah has, while working for local authorities provided training for social workers on the Public Law Outline, statement drafting and courtroom skills.
In 2010 Farah became a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel and in 2018 obtained her Higher Rights before transferring to the bar.
