Robert Lindsey has a varied and busy Crown Court criminal practice, based predominantly in the Thames Valley, and covering the full range of criminal work, including public order matters, violent offences, sexual offences, road traffic cases, drugs and dishonesty. During the last two years, Robert has been briefed regularly on serious matters involving high level indecent images, arson, firearms offences and explosives. He both defends and prosecutes, and is an appointed Level 2 Panel Advocate for the CPS.

He advises on Appeals and Judicial Review, and complex points of law, and has experience prosecuting Intellectual Property Crime, together with an interest in CyberCrime. Robert is known for his compassionate and sensitive approach to client care, and is often briefed to represent vulnerable clients and those who find themselves in court for the first time.

He was awarded the Cassel Scholarship and the Buchanan Prize from Lincoln’s Inn (2008-10), and was runner up for the Kalisher Essay Prize in Criminal Law (2011).
