Background

Having worked as a paralegal and qualifying as a solicitor advocate in 2020 at a renowned Legal 500 criminal defence firm, Bethan has years of experience handling criminal cases.

Having represented clients in the first instance at the Police Station and at first appearances at the Magistrates Court, she is able to put client’s at ease throughout proceedings, explaining each step in detail and providing clear advice. Through working in law firms, she appreciates the demands faced by criminal solicitors and is able to build strong working relationships with those who instruct her, being available to be contacted early on in proceedings to ensure that the client is properly advised and represented throughout proceedings.

Bethan’s expertise

Criminal Law

Bethan regularly attends the Magistrates Court for a variety of hearings including quickly assessing evidence and advising in relation to plea at first appearances, applying persuasive arguments at plea in mitigation hearings and representing clients thoroughly at trial.

Bethan also represents clients in the Crown Court for a variety of offences including assaults, drugs offences and sexual offences.
