Sarah’s expertise

Family

Sarah practises exclusively in family law and specialises in matters relating to children. This includes both public and private law Children Act proceedings representing Local Authorities, parents, guardians and other family members in both the Family Proceedings Court and the County Court.

Sarah accepts both private and publicly funded instructions.

Public Family Law:

Sarah regularly acts in all stages of care and adoption proceedings including section 38(6) applications, fact finding and final hearings

Private Family Law:

Sarah is instructed in residence, contact, prohibited steps, specific issue and enforcement applications. Her experience also includes cases involving the appointment of rule 16.4 Guardians in intractable disputes and applications for Special Guardianship Orders.

Sarah also accepts instructions in matters relating to injunctive relief pursuant to the Family Law Act 1996.
