Danae Larham


Danae joins Cornwall Street after successful completion of her Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law Birmingham where she received a Very Competent classification. She also completed an LLM in Bar Practice achieving a Distinction.

During her studies, Danae undertook Pro Bono work in a range of matters from family to housing. Danae was awarded the Harmsworth Major Scholarship by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

Prior to the BPTC, Danae worked for a solicitors practice as a legal assistant across a range of departments, as well as regularly volunteering at and fundraising for her local homeless shelter.

 Danae’s pupillage is in common law under the supervision of Michael Trevelyan.

Danae’s expertise


Danae’s family practice is rapidly growing. She has dealt with numerous Case Management Conferences and Directions Hearings representing parents from first appointments to final hearings. She has been instructed in multi-day final hearings demonstrating ability beyond her call.

Disputes include complex proceedings over residence and contact as well as domestic abuse. This is in addition to representing clients with personality disorders and mental health issues.


Danae’s civil practice is expanding with her acting for both Claimants and Defendants, and regularly appearing in the County Court. She has built up a wide experience of road traffic claims, including disputes concerning credit hire and low velocity impacts.


Danae enjoys a busy and varied criminal practice and has gained experience across a range of hearings in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts. These include PTPHs, Sentences, Trials and Applications and Appeals.
