Background

Chan recently returned to Cornwall Street and has been taking instructions across a wide range of criminal matters, primarily in the Crown Court. As a defence advocate Chan brings to bear years of experience (partly from his time as a family barrister) to deliver first class client care and representation. Whether vulnerable or challenging, Chan is known to quickly build meaningful rapport with clients which he considers essential to representing them to the best of his ability in court.

Chan also prosecutes at grade 1, taking instructions in all matters at that level including sexual assault, robbery, burglary and drug offences.
