Nomas Chizhowezha

Background

Nomsa completed her pupillage at a set in Northampton and joined Chambers in July 2020. Following her studies, she worked for an investment firm in Cyprus as a Compliance officer where she was responsible for the regulatory compliance of the firm.

Her main area of practice is family law. She is a thorough and effective advocate who is constantly applauded for her level of detail in preparation and calmness in handling complex matters.

Nomsa has a friendly and gentle demeanour which helps clients feel listened to. She is often commended for the manner in which she handles vulnerable clients including those with severe learning and mental health difficulties including working alongside interpreters and intermediaries.

In addition to representing clients at hearings, Nomsa is available to provide advise both in conference and in writing on prospects of success, points of law and procedure.
