As a forward thinking, dynamic and progressive set we are moving with the technological times by implementing new ways of working that ensure we can continue to meet client demands whilst being able to offer the best service possible.
This month we have introduced a new and exciting feature to our case management system that will simplify the way case papers can be sent to us. The benefits of this fantastic new system are that papers will be stored in a single, secure location that can be accessed by our Barristers anywhere and on any device whilst ensuring we remain GDPR compliant.
So how will it work? When our Barristers are instructed on a case we will send an email to those instructing with a link to access the system. They can then simply drag and drop the papers into the system which, once uploaded, will be stored automatically against the back of the case in our case management system. Both the Clerks and the Barrister will be notified immediately that the papers have been uploaded giving the client reassurance that the Barrister will be able to start working on their case as soon as they can knowing the papers have arrived.
Other great features of this new system are that when drafting work is completed or when attendance notes have been uploaded we can grant access to those instructing to view and download them immediately.
