Further to our previous update and as we continue to closely follow the advice from the British government and Public Health England, Chambers has made further modifications to our current working practices.
We would like to reassure all our clients we are well prepared for the disruption these unprecedented times will bring. Chambers will be remaining open and our main phone line will continue to remain available. However, with the safety of our members, staff and clients in the forefront of our minds, our staff will now be working remotely.
To ensure we continue to provide an efficient service, we are encouraging clients to contact our clerks via the appropriate team email account at either email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for the respective teams.
Where possible, we ask that all papers be filed by email.
All staff are available via telephone during normal working hours:
For Family, please contact Vickie Kellar on 07850 430 709 or Matt Fleming.
For Civil, please contact Matt Fleming on 07926 314 405.
For Birmingham Crime, please contact Amanda Cook on 07768 761 612 or Chris Jones on 07415 377 470.
For Oxford Crime, please contact Jim Leverett on 07788 101 317.
Our main telephone number for Birmingham will be redirected to Matt Fleming and our main telephone number for Oxford will be redirected to Jim Leverett.
Where possible we will facilitate the setting up video and telephone hearings and Chambers has a multitude of services it can use to facilitate these whilst adhering to HMCTS guidance. Please contact the clerking team to arrange video or telephone hearings if necessary.
We continue to monitor this fast-moving situation closely and will communicate any further updates via our website and on our social media channels. For further information please email or call James Farmer, Chambers Director on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07384 463 028.
