This week, David Swinnerton, instructed by The Reflective Practice, secured the acquittal of a Deputy Head accused of perverting the course of justice. His effective cross examination of the first crown witness led the CPS to reconsider their case. In directing an acquittal, the Judge remarked that this case was particularly troubling as the teacher’s life had been on hold following 22 years of service despite everybody who had viewed the evidence agreeing nothing untoward had occurred.
